7 weird things Meme
Cellobella tagged me for this meme (ages ago!) where I have to list 7 weird things about me and then tag 7 more people to do the same.
Hmmm… I found this quite hard. It’s not that I don’t think I’m weird, everyone’s a little bit weird, aren’t they? It’s just hard to identify the things about yourself that are weird. In the end I had to ask Rocky to name some weird things about me. Then I had to narrow his list down to 7…
- I hate tomatoes (raw) but I love tomato flavoured things (pasta sauces, casseroles, tomato sauce)
- I can’t handle the sound of people eating. It makes me feel sick! Usually this is not a problem because background noise or conversation will drown out the sound, but when Rocky and I are sitting in companionable silence on the couch at night eating
chocolatea healthy snack the sound of him eating drives me crazy. Luckily I know that this is extremely weird so I don’t say anything and he knows I hate it and loves me anyway.
- I don’t drink coffee or tea. Not because I am healthy (ha!) but because I don’t like the taste. I don’t actually think this is weird, but whenever people offer me a coffee or tea and I decline they think its very strange.
- I always sneeze in threes. Every time.
- The very first concert I went to was at the Sydney Entertainment Centre to see…Wham! I was 12 and I was so excited because I was totally in love with George Michael. I was too young to understand the futility of that. I was also too young to join in with the teenage girls begging him to take his Go-Go t-shirt off. I remember being incredibly embarrassed when he did! I even remember what I wore - overalls with pastel icecream cones on them!! What???? They were cute!!!! I was only 12!!!! (OK, they were daggy)
- My musical tastes have obviously matured a lot (thank goodness) because one of the first dates I had with Rocky was to a Pearl Jam concert (again at the Sydney Entertainment Centre). It was awesome. I don’t remember what I wore to that concert but I do still have the ticket stub in my purse.
- My husband is in the same profession as my father (sad, I know). What’s weird is that when we met, I was in the same profession as his father.
OK, that’s enough weirdness from me. Rocky wanted me to put something about snoring, but that’s obviously not true. I’ve never heard it so it can’t be true.
I’m going to tag these people because I want to know their weird stuff

Re #1, hey you’re not the only one. I’m the same with tomatoes, also pumpkin - can’t stand a hunk of it served up any way, but really like pumpkin soup. Weird!!!!

hehe, I used to be the same as #1, although I can stomach tomato in salads and stuff now. But almost always take it off burgers or sandwiches! I also think that tomato juice is the most disgusting thing ever!
Shun always sneezes in threes, well I have never heard him not sneeze in threes….So perhaps this is normal?!?!

I am the same with listening to people eat, I used to hate sitting next to my Grandfather when we were eating cause I could hear his dentures clacking away while he ate. Eeeeeuuuuuuuwwwwwwww
