Random Facts with a Twist
A little while ago, Lulu tagged me for the 8 random facts meme.
Here are the rules:
1. Each player starts with 8 random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged, write a blog post about their own 8 random things, and post these rules.
3. At the end of your post you need to tag 8 people and include their names.
4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment on their blog and tell them they’ve been tagged, and to come back and read your blog for the whole story.
I decided I would put my own little twist on it, though and give you 8 random facts about me - but one of them is not true.
You have to guess which one!
- I am the only member of my childhood family (Mum, Dad & brothers) born in WA and the only member of my adult family (husband & children) born in Australia
- I once kissed an Australian Test Cricketer
- I am scared of heights, even though I love skiing and have to spend lots of time on chairlifts and gondolas to do that.
- I have lived in 7 countries and 15 houses in my life
- I was in one of 2 teams representing Australia in a university competition held in the US
- I have climbed Mt Kilimanjaro
- I am a Gemini (the twins) and have a cousin with the same birthday as me (so we call ourselves twin cousins born 5 years apart)
- And a bonus “odd-one-out” within the “odd-one-out” - which of these subjects did I NOT study at university

Anyone who knows me would get this straight away, but I’m interested to see what you would guess as the odd ones out, based on what I have revealed about myself in the blog.
Now, I need to tag some people here. Feel free to go back to the original meme of 8 random facts (all true) or you can do odd one out random facts like mine if you prefer, or you could just ignore me and not do it all. Your choice.

I´m going to say the climbing Kilimanj is false and that yiu didn´t study Italian….just guesses! It will take me some time to come up with my 8 things.

I agree, I was going to say that although its something you have always wanted to do, you were never able to organise the trip. Thats because thats MY own excuse for not doing the climb. My two cousins climbed it with my aunt when I was in the second to last year at school and I wasn’t able to get time off to climb! I believe that you may have kissed a test cricketer because a close friend of mine kissed a South African test cricketer one night when we were out together. I don’t think you studied maths at uni, not sure why I say that though.

I have only been reading (and very much enjoying) your blog for a couple of months so I will have to take a guess.
I am with the others on the Mountain climb, because I am guessing you the afraid of heights and maybe climbing a high mountain may not be your thing!
My random guess for the uni subject is law.
I would love to know which cricketer - quite a few good ones come from WA.

mmmm…before I read the comments I was going to say climbing the mountain…..but everybody else guessed at that so instead I am going to say that you are not scared of heights?!? I don`t know!
I also think that you didn`t study maths at uni but that is just a guess!

I think commerce for the thing you didn’t study. Only because, I can’t imagine doing it myself, i think. It seems like a very dry subject.
