Comment Problems

We’ve just got back from a long weekend away. Even after only 3 days without internet access there’s a lot to catch up on. I was just starting to get my Google reader under control and all of a sudden there are about 200 new posts to get through.

One of them I found was Cellobella’s post about a competition to win a free MacBook Air or an iPhone from Upstart Blogger. They are some pretty cool prizes, so I am putting my hand up to be in the running for those (by linking to them in my post - you can try it to if you want to enter!). I had a look at all the pretty Apple gadgets in the Apple store in San Francisco when we were there earlier this year and I was drooling!

I also discovered that while I was away something went haywire with all the comments on my blog! I was getting a “database error” just before we left but it seemed to fix itself pretty quickly before I had a chance to submit a ticket. But I didn’t realise until later that all the comments had disappeared. My blog looked all empty and lonely!

Thankfully, it’s all repaired now, but I’m wondering if anyone had trouble commenting over the last few days??? Please let me know if you got any weird messages from the blog!!

Otherwise, the weekend was great, but we’re very tired now and need a good rest to get ready for the next few days of birthday party prep. I’ll post photos of the beautiful town we visited, just as soon as I sort through the mountain of photos I took!
